MANGPHA JOSHUA : ANA PAI MAI AW LE

A BRIEF NOTE ON THE DEPARTED SOUL
The first–born grandson of (L) Chinzakham Guite and Nemzahoi, Joshua Khamkhanmung Guite was born on 28th June 1978 at Ganesh Das Hospital, Shillong, to P. Phungchinthang Guite and (L) Rosalind Niangzavung. A cheerful, friendly boy & full of life, Joshua’s educational sojourn spans from Springdale School (Now Donbosco), Lunglei, Mary Mount, Aizawl, Step By Step and St. Peters School, Shillong, St. Pauls, Mizoram and Jetking, New Delhi. Brimming with the anticipation of learning, he always had a question for everything.


Joshua had rendered his services to L.V. Arts, Mizoram as DTP Operator, Zedell Agency, Mizoram as Computer Hardware Technician and Wipro, New Delhi as Senior Customer Care Executive during his 32 years. A devoted and efficient employee and an excellent team player, he was trusted by his superiors and loved by his colleagues and valued by his clients.
Joshua had a knack for good music, popular amongst his friends and family alike, a true protective big brother to his siblings Gladys Zennuamkim and Andrew Thangliankhual, exudes childlike compassion. He believed in living life to the fullest. He found God’s calling and was baptized on the 7th January, 1992 at Singngat, Manipur. He married Ms. Ngaikhanmoi d/o Goukhanthang Guite on the 21st of June, 2008.
Since 7th February, 2010 Joshua complained of back pain, diarrhoea and fever. He had to be admitted in Moolchand Hospital at 12:15 AM on 10th February and was diagnosed with ‘low TLC and platelet count, with hyponatremia and deranged LFT, sinus tachycardia, mild generalized LV hypokinesia and massive pneumonia’. He succumbed to massive pneumonia and left for his heavenly abode at 4.30 PM on the 10th of February, 2010.
